The best terraces in Paris with a view
Since June 2, terraces have been reopening in the capital after two months of lockdown, much to the delight of Parisians. To fully take advantage of this welcome change, here are some of our favorite terraces that offer the best views of Paris in all her glory.
Girafe
Nestled in the heart of the Cité de l’Architecture, Giraffe is a refuge of calm where guests can enjoy a quiet moment of luxury. While the warm interior decor, styled by architect Joseph Dirand, invites you to sit back, relax, and stay a while, it’s outside that the real show takes place, with a terrace offering an unparalleled view of the Eiffel Tower, so close you could almost touch it. Whether you come during the day or at night, a stop at Giraffe is worth the detour.
Girafe: 1 place du Trocadéro, Paris XVI.
Le Drugstore
It doesn’t get more Parisian than the famous avenue des Champs Elysées, at the end of which reigns the Arc de Triomphe. It’s this incomparable panorama that Le Drugstore proudly has on display from its outdoor terrace just a few steps away. With 50 covers and an exceptional view that guests keep coming back for, Le Drugstore has also released a brand new summer menu just in time for the terraces to reopen after quarantine.
Le Drugstore: 133 avenue des Champs-Élysées, Paris VIII.
Daroco 16
Building on the success of their establishment in the 2nd, the trio of Alexandre Giesbert, Julien Ross, and Romain Glize decided to open Daroco 16 in western Paris. Impossible to miss with its blue façade and giant neon sign, Daroco 16 welcomes gourmands craving the best of Italian cuisine. As for its shaded terrace, it offers guests a complete change of scenery with a view of the Seine and its surrounding quays.
Daroco 16: 3 place Clément Ader, Paris XVI.
Brach Paris
At Brach Paris, there is something for everyone. Not only does the establishment have five terraces, but its rooftop vegetable garden boasts an unrivaled, panoramic view of the capital. We almost feel as though we are in the country, especially with Brach’s unforgettable gourmet picnic baskets available to top it all off.
Brach Paris: 1-7 rue Jean Richepin, Paris XVI.
Mob Hotel
The rooftop at the Mob Hotel, located in the heart of Saint-Ouen, is the perfect place to spend your fun summer nights. It actually reopened its doors, as well as its rooftop overlooking Paris, on June 2nd, with a team ready and prepared to get back to work while respecting social distancing measures. Brimming over with a festive yet relaxed atmosphere, the terrace is open in the afternoon and can even be reserved for those who still want to avoid crowds for a while.

Mama Shelter Paris West
A colorful and sunny rooftop with a view over all of Paris, that’s what Mama Shelter Paris West offers, which is back in service after two months of quarantine. It’s the perfect place to slow down and relax, as you sip cocktails and take in the funky pop decor and welcoming atmosphere.
