Located on a street which runs along the side of  the church and the place St Sulpice in this well-known historic area.  As the marble plaque on the façade attests, the St. Vincent de Paul Society was founded here in 1833.

 Behind the large blue door with its lovely iron grillwork lies an imposing stone entryway which leads to a charming inner courtyard.  The marble floor in the lobby has a geometric pattern, and the elevator then leads us to the 6th and final floor of the building.

The proximity of St Germain des Près and the Luxembourg gardens make this the perfect location for a Parisian pied-à-terre or a short term rentals investment property.  It was redone with seasonal rentals in mind and in fact rents out very well.

 The apartment is in excellent condition, having been fully renovated, and the space is ideally distributed.  A small foyer with cupboard is followed by the hallway which leads from the living room and kitchen to a bathroom and bedroom.  The apartment is decorated with antiques as well as high quality modern elements (a Queen sized Steiner fold-out couch, Seimens kitchen appliances, a flat screen tv), most of which may be purchased. 

From the living room window one sees the belltower of the St Germain des Près church.  The kitchen is very sunny due to the overhead window and the large pass-through to the living room.  The bathroom has a shower and a stone sink counter.  The hallway is lined with closets, one of which houses the washing machine and separate dryer.  There is a skylight in the bedroom with a direct view of the Baroque stone façade of the St. Sulpice church.  An exposed beam reminds one of the historic origins of the building.  The apartment’s main windows face south and north, making it sunny most of the day.

Everything has been thought of for short term renters, from the quality of the materials used in the renovation to the presence of a short term air conditioning unit.  The owner, very experienced in renovating rental properties, has even created a website to market the apartment, which is included in the sale.  The company which currently manages the rentals very successfully would be most pleased to do so for the new owner.
