Restaurants worth checking out Spring/Summer 2023.

If you’re planning to visit Paris in the coming months, consider some of the stand out restaurants opened since Paris came back to life last year. New hot spots opened their doors along with older ones that passed under the radar; all remarkable finds!

 

La Cantine Farmers 

An affordable and convenient bistronomic canteen, serving breakfast to afternoon tea, from bistronomic lunch to brunch they do it all. La Cantine Farmers is the place to mange in the 10th arrondissement. 

Blanca

The second Argentinian restaurant with Basque accents from Fernando de Tomaso, chef of Biondi near Bastille. A wonderful discovery.

Le Shack

A majestic restaurant-bar with creative cocktails in the former Calmann-Levy printing works. Le Shack is a unique place with Chef Albane Auvray at the helm, serving vegetable and seasonal cuisine, local and respectful of the environment.

Nellu

A bistronomic restaurant and wine bar by Clément Vergeat and Olivier Garcia in the 4th arrondissement. Excellent menu and stellar decor like its sister restaurant Tamara.

Omar Dhiab

The virtuoso Chef Omar Dhiab’s first gastronomic restaurant after having worked in the finest restaurants. A truly thrilling gastronomic cuisine.

Les Parisiens

A generous and flawless bourgeois cuisine by Thibault Sombardier in the Pavillon Faubourg Saint-Germain hotel. On the menu, a rich cuisine that honors French traditions and a gargantuan floating island! 

La Condesa

A starry and bubbling getaway on the arm of Mexican chef Indra Carrillo Perea. La Condesa, has moved a few meters to a larger space, but it is just as warm. A favorite.

Steam Bar

An intimate restaurant with Hong Kong influences, the Steam Bar stands out with its eccentric, refined and rarely seen elsewhere dim sum by chef Chi Cheung Wong.

Momen

A  new bistronomic hub was set up on boulevard Haussmann. Momen upsets the codes of the moment, breaking onto the scene with a splash!

Bonhomme

Three friends, two affordable menus, an inspired chef, this is the winning equation of Bonhomme, the new bistronomic table near Poissonnière.

Le Galopin

Intuitive and clear gastronomy by Julien Simonnet. Bistronomy at lunchtime, gastronomy in the evening, Le Galopin has more than one trick up its sleeve. With his Japanese influences subtly infused into straight-forward dishes, chef Julien Simonnet touches the heart. 

Cléo

Sparkling and affordable gastronomy by Bruno Aubin of Narcisse Blanc.

Sonny’s Deli

Foodporn alert with the opening of Sonny’s Deli where you can taste real New York-style sandwiches. A favorite directly across the Street from the famed Sonny’s Pizza!

Vesper

The amazing Nikkei restaurant by Lucas Felzine that wakes up the 7th arrondissement with its cuisine and its sublime setting with two atmospheres for festive evenings.
