Memories From Our First-Ever “PPG Family Reunion”

To toast the start of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, we threw a festive soirée for PPG clients in an off-market property with a unique story.

August 25, 2024, just 24 hours before the kick-off of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games Opening Ceremony, was a special day for the PPG team. Knowing that many of our current and prior clients were coming to town to take part in the Olympic events, we seized the opportunity to do something we had never done before: bring together our clients, partners, and team for an exclusive evening of music, laughter, and community.

And we’re so glad we did. We couldn’t have imagined a more perfect (albeit, rather warm) evening. That’s why we thought we’d share a bit of the joy with you. Keep on reading to see what made this such a special event, one that reminded us just how incredible the PPG family truly is.

A Venue With a Unique Backstory

When it came to planning this event, we didn’t want to just throw a party—we wanted it to tell a story. The venue we chose played a big part in this: a stunning flat in the heart of Paris’ picturesque 6th arrondissement, a stone’s throw away from the famed Place Furstenberg. Aside from its obvious “curb appeal,” giving it added sentimental value is the fact that it was the very first property ever purchased via PPG over 20 years ago.

In what you might call a “coming full circle” moment, the soirée also doubled as an opportunity to make an exclusive announcement that this beautiful property would be hitting the market once again very soon. In fact, over the next couple of months, the PPG team will be putting in a good amount of work before the property officially goes to market by mid-October.

Check out the current off-market listing below to learn more about this rare find. According to the owner, there’s no better place than built-in window seats to enjoy a glass of wine while taking in the “magical natural evening light” that floods the main room’s three large windows.

Cue the French Flair

It would be impossible to host a party in such a quintessentially Parisian venue without a few exquisitely French finishing touches. From the delicious wine and champagne provided by the expert sommeliers at La Dernière Goutte (located just downstairs) to the unbelievably artistic cheese and charcuterie creations from Charlicot Fromagerie and silky smooth chocolates from Maison Le Roux—party guests were treated to a culinary adventure from start to finish.

Throughout the evening, Chloé Cassandre whisked us away to a whimsical place with her jazzy renditions of timeless French standards, while eye-catching black-and-white photography from the Fredrik Brodén gallery graced the walls.

And as the cherry on top, we surprised guests with an Olympics-themed parting gift, co-created with the team at La Durée: an assortment of fresh macarons in the colors of the Olympic rings.
