Rihanna: a career woman thriving in Paris
From her recent move to the French capital to her latest collaboration with LVMH, Rihanna is making a lasting mark on the Parisian cultural scene.
Having split her time between apartments in LA, London, and Paris, Rihanna is no stranger to our beloved capital. In fact, the Grammy award-winning artist has even decided make it her new home. Making the move back in mid-July with her boyfriend Hassan Jameel, Rihanna has settled in the very chic 16th arrondissement of the capital, and, according to weekly magazine “Public,” their apartment is situated near the town hall. Linda Pinto has been called onto the scene for her interior design expertise.
The move to Paris goes hand in hand with Rihanna’s latest creative project. In May, the singer launched her own fashion house within LVMH, the French multinational luxury goods conglomerate headquartered in Paris. The brand is called Fenty, which is Rihanna’s last name, as well as the name of her cosmetics brand Fenty Beauty, which has been a hit for a few years now.

Bernard Arnault, CEO of LVMH, highlighted the success of their collaboration with Fenty Beauty, and the logical continuation of their partnership at the Fenty launch earlier this year: “Everybody knows Rihanna as a wonderful singer, but through our partnership at Fenty Beauty, I discovered a true entrepreneur, a real CEO and a terrific leader. She naturally finds her full place within LVMH. To support Rihanna to start up the Fenty Maison, we have built a talented and multicultural team supported by the Group resources. I am proud that LVMH is leading this venture and wish it will be a great success.”
The objective of Fenty is clear and above all innovative: to shake up industry codes and propose inclusive fashion, for men and woman of all shapes and sizes. Acclaimed for its bold premier collection and the fact that it offers sizes up to 48, the luxury brand continues to be praised on social networks.
