Four leafy terraces to check out this autumn in Paris

Check out these 4 terraces that are perfect for having an aperitif or tapas while enjoying the autumn sun in the capital.

4 spots pour prolonger l’été

Mun

The spot ? This is Laurent de Gourcuff’s newest restaurant for the Paris Society group. This terrace, located above the Galeries Lafayette Champs-Elysees, has a view over the most beautiful avenue in Paris.  The decor, by Eve von Romberg and Charlotte Besson-Oberlin, is inspired by a fantasy-like voyage to Asia, consisting of wood worked panels, precious fabrics and subdued lights.

On the menu ? Bar or restaurant, in this pagoda suspended in the sky, you can taste Asian-inspired cuisine – carpaccios, Japanese barbecue robata yakitoris, sashimi, sushi …

Mun, 52, avenue des Champs-Élysées, 75008 Paris. Phone. : 01.40.70.57.05.

Coffee 52

The spot ? A health conscious restaurant on the ground floor of the historic 5-star Grand Powers Hotel.

On the menu ? A menu orchestrated by chef Maxime Raab : poke bowl (€ 28), basket of organic vegetables (€ 11), Scandinavian smørrebrød (€ 18), kale and prawns salad (€ 24) …

Café 52, Hotel Grand Powers, 52 rue François-Ier, 75008 Paris. Phone. : 01.47.23.91.05.

The Vendome

The spot ? A garden nestled in the heart of Maison Albar Hotels Le Vendome, which has just opened within the walls of the famous cabaret hotel Le Lyon d´Or : a cozy setting with 51 rooms available and only a stone’s throw away from the Opera.

On the menu ? A sunny kitchen for snacking with friends – focaccia with herbs, serrano ham and sheep’s milk cheese (€ 18) – or for lunch/dinner : grilled octopus with spices, creamy polenta (€ 24), razor clams in parsley and candied tomatoes (€ 14), watermelon, melon, tomatoes and feta salad (10 €).

Le Vendome, Maison Albar Hotels, 7, rue du Helder, 75009 Paris. Phone. : 01.87.44.38.88.

La Régalade du Faubourg

The spot ? A hidden green space located in the interior courtyard of the 5-star hotel Les Jardins du Faubourg. Meet amongst the exotic plants, Japanese bamboo and flowering shrubs.

On the menu ? A selection of fine dining dishes by chef Bruno Doucet: poultry club sandwich (€ 19), heirloom tomato salad (€ 16), Parisian salmon with mixed vegetables (€ 27).
